SUPERLATIVE BRITISH progressive rock band consisting of prominant session players including guitarist Phil Palmer (Eric Clapton), vocalist Gordon Neville (Beggars Opera), drummer Jim Toomey (Titus Groan) and bassis Andy Bown (the Alan Bown Set and Jonesy). The project was recorded and produuced by super sessions guitarist Big Jim Sullivan and Derek Lawrence for his label called Retreat. Lawrence was of course the producer of the first three Deep Purple albums and early Wishbone Ash including the seminal 'Argus' LP. Musically the band occupy a typical early seventies proggy style with the emphasis on actual songs rather than streched out solos or mindless jamming.

This auction is part of a fantastic collection of seventies rock which I was lucky enough to acquire. Most of these records were stored with the utmost care and sparsely played. Some were possibly never played or may have been for just a handful of times.
