Description

This is the original UK LP by DOWNLINERS SECT,  THE SECT, MONO, 1964 1st Press on the black and blue COLUMBIA label 33SX 1658, with "COLUMBIA GRAMOPHONE CO.LTD" rim credits and "Sold in the UK" label credits. Matrix numbers are,  SIDE 1:-  XAX 2729-1N,  SIDE 2:-  XAX 2730-1N, stamper codes are,  SIDE 1:-  1 / M,  SIDE 2:-  1 / R. The LP comes complete with the original and RARE E.J DAY cover and the "Use Emitex" die-cut poly-lined inner sleeve.

The original 1964 UK Mono 1st issue E. J DAY cover is in great ex condition, lovely and clean, front and back, their is no handwriting and no seam splits. very light ringwear on front sleeve and one small crease near bottom opening edge. Otherwise great front with minimal laminate creasing and no lift. Rear sleeve is fantastic clean condition.

The vinyl is in overall ex condition. There are a few clicks etc and surface marks, but nothing to warrant a problem, and the vinyl has a great lustre etc.

The black and blue COLUMBIA label's are in lovely, clean condition. There is no unwanted writing and only minimal spindle wear.

Housed in original poly-lined Emitex-branded inner sleeve.

Altogether a SUPERB copy of this RARE original 1964 UK LP by the DOWNLINERS SECT, THE SECT.
