Live at the Union 1966
SEALED limited edition 180 gram Vinyl 2 LP set. Stamford Audio ASMF 1006. Stereo. COVER & VINYL: MINT still sealed, never played, gatefold cover.
Recordings by this legendary band are extremely rare. The band were taped at the Students' Union Jazz Club at University College London on December 12, 1966 by George Foster, then Secretary of the Jazz Society at the college. In his sleeve notes, he says: "The band were on exceptional form that night, even though Dave Green had to leave after a few numbers on a prior booking at Ronnie Scott's Club backing Ben Webster...I heard this band many times and I don't think that their studio recordings ever fully captured the power and fire of which they were capable...If you never heard this band in the flesh, you are in for a treat or maybe even a shock, for this was a very hot band."

I will play grade on certain items only - it is just impossible for me to play grade everything I put on EBAY. MINT means factory sealed, never opened or played. NM is opened but in visually brand new, out-of-the-packaging clean condition. NM- is not NM! Its a grade above VG++ and below Near Mint - it does not imply perfect. In my terminology Scratches are feeler type and Scuffs are just cosmetic and usually inaudible.
