On the new EP 'Dedication', Dom & Roland, the not-a-duo alias of one Dominic Angas, asks one of the most intuitively answerable questions: "can you feel it!?" Our answer is a strident yes. Going classic, Dom revisits and reshapes the amine sound of the Amen break across four new tracks, exempting 'Dark Crystl', a rework of the atemporally dreamy auto-wheelup from DJ Crystl, 'Dark Crystl', from the recent 'Dark Crystl / Inna Year 3000' split from 2023. It's a hot, redlining ode to the cathartic charge of the flagship breakbeat, though 'The Thing About You' beefs things up to impetuous, post-Amen standard.
