DIXIE KWANKWA - acetate LP. UK Advision. 50's/60's? Rare African, jazz, Rock & roll. A very rare UK acetate of singer Dixie Kwankwa. Pressed via Advision ltd in london. I am unsure of the year, but the styles are a mixture of afro hi-life, jazz and even rock & roll. Very clear sound. And a very nice album. I notice that a similar acetate was listed some years ago on advision. I cant comment if this is the same as that was a one sided acetate and this has tracks on both sides although 7 in total like the other acetate. I would say late 50's early 60's because of the musical content. The advision label is only on one side. The acetate itself is in great shape. Still very shiny and plays loud and clear with no skips or jumps. A great one off item.
