SS Still Sealed
M Mint, New condition
NM Near Mint, nearly perfect
EX Record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality
VG++ Half-step grade between VG+ and EX, still a strong addition to your collection
VG+ Collectible, but with some noticeable signs of use including superficial slide marks or light scuffs, not generally affecting sound quality
VG Clear signs of use, generally with acceptable light to moderate surface noise
VG- Significant wear, and surface noise may be distracting
