Description

Big breakbeat record. This record was one of those early disco breaks that you heard the emcees rapping over at parties and shows. Before rap records actually came out, you had records like these.
The record started getting sampled in '86, first on the "You'll Rock" remix by LL Cool J, then on the record called "The Real Grandmaster" by The Two. Stetsasonic used it on their debut LP on the track "4 Ever My Beat". But everyone remembers this sample from the Slick Rick song called "Mona Lisa".
This record is harder to find nowadays, especially a clean copy. Part of the reason is because record stores love to hang colored vinyl records on their walls, or hang them from the ceiling on a string or a wire. I can't tell you how many times I saw this record on a wall or dangling from the ceiling. Too many record stores back then just didn't respect the 12" singles, or disco records for that matter so many copies suffered this fate.
This record plays good. You have to hold the record under the light at the right angle to see the surface.
