This is an original sealed copy of Chrome's second LP "Alien Soundtracks" on the tiny Siren Records from 1979 . Helios Creed & Damoon Edge formed Chrome as a two piece band in San Francisco in 1978. Taking their cues from Suicide, 60's psych & punk, their dark metallic drone paved the way for the goth & industrial movements of the 80's. Chrome disbanded in 1983 and Edge & Chrome went their separate ways. Creed continued recording by himself (most notably for Sub Pop in the early 90's) as did edge before reviving chrome without his ex partner in 1988. Edge died in 1995.

This copy of this ultra rare original version of this LP is still sealed in it's original shrink wrap and still has the original sticker on the front cover announcing this as "The second LP by America's first new wave band". The only flaw is a slightly frayed upper left hand corner, but it's barely noticable.
