DEXTER GORDON "Go" Blue Note 84112, P, RVG, Stereo Vinyl

This is the 1971, Stereo first edition, "Van Gelder" stamped, "P"-pressing of DEXTER GORDON's "Go" on the "New York USA" labels of Blue Note BST 84112. Musicians include Bass – Butch Warren, Drums – Billy Higgins, Piano – Sonny Clark, Tenor Saxophone – Dexter Gordon.

VINYL plays well, with consistent very low-level surface noise (i.e, static, crackle, ??,????,relative to the volume of the music/instruments), with occasional pops and ticks (some repeating). Ensemble sections are dynamic and strong with clean transients, powerful extension and clear tone. No Skips. No locked grooves. No distortion. Good gloss, both sides. Many hairline marks, none feelable (generally speaking, if you can't feel it, you can't hear it). The "New York USA" labels show wear and spindle marks. See photos.

VER is in excellent condition, strong inking, wear spots evident on white cover. Long wrinkle evident. Corners worn. Top and bottom seam and spine in excellent shape; half-inch split on lower seam at opening and one-inch split at center. "BLUE NOTE RECORDS INC., 43 West 61st St., New York 23" back jacket shows wear, but largely very good condition. Please see photos.
