DEXTER GORDON "DEXTER CALLING" LP - On Blue Note Records, #4083. Scarce vintage jazz Lp. MONO pressing with the classic Blue & White labels and the NEW YORK USA address on the labels. "RVG"stamped in the trail-off on both sides, no 'ear'. Matrix number is hand-etched on both sides. Thick vinyl, thick laminated cardboard cover. The personnel: Dexter Gordon/tenor sax; Kenny Drew/piano; Paul Chambers/bass; Philly Joe Jones/drums. The vinyl is in NM condition (beautiful gloss)!! Labels are spotless. The thick cardboard cover is in superb shape: bright and clean, still mostly protected by the cellophane shrink wrap!! Displays wonderfully with only a small bit of upper right corner tip wear. Spine is virtually perfect and legible. The front cover graphics are particularly striking. Very tiny bb hole in upper right corner. Address on back cover is 43 West 61st St., New York 23. The songs are: Soul Sister; Modal Mood; I Want More; End Of A Love Affair; Clear The Dex; Ernie's Tune; Smile.***Includes the original Blue Note Records inner sleeve!***
