Very rare Los Angeles area punk / death rock / experimental album featuring tracks from groups like The Urinals, Minutemen, Anti, Red Cross and others.

Some info on the release: Mega rare 1982 compilation on the obscure and small independent New Underground Records featuring some top of the cream Los Angeles area punk / death rock / experimental / noise groups of the era...i think this one has been one of the favourite albums of Thurston Moore of Sonic Youth as i saw in one of his interviews on net...the same label released a couple of albums in the same series (Life is so beautiful, so why no eat health food?, etc.), all with nearly the same line-up and some with cover artworks by Raymond Pettibon. Mostly exclusive material from the groups on this album, like the deranged experimental track of Gary Kail (under the alias Zurich 1919). Not very far from the LAFMS & Subterranean compilations issued a while before this one.

Condition: Vinyl lies in absolutely stunning excellent condition, very clear and "fresh", still after all those years, while cover is excellent, nearly perfect.
