Description

This is the ULTRA RARE HOLY GRAIL of all MONO PROMOTIONAL records: Derek and the Dominos' Layla and other Assorted Love Songs (ATCO 2-704) from 1970. Very few of these were produced in MONO and sent out as promos to select radio stations, making this record incredibly rare. Only a few have ever been sold on eBay -- one of the rarest & most sought-after Clapton albums.  
GRADING:
Vinyl: Very good. All four sides are still glossy, and have a number of hairlines and marks that creates some background noise with occasional ticks or pops on play-testing but nothing repetitive. No skips or jumps. Labels are all clean.

The gatefold cover is good-plus. Front cover has round dayglo "d/j copy monaural / PROMOTIONAL / NOT FOR SALE" sticker and a transparent 2.25x3.5-inch "2 LP Set" sticker. There's moderate to heavy ringwear in places. There's some bend/rippling to the lower part of the front and back covers. One of the bottom seams has a 2-inch split. 
Inside the gatefold, looks decent aside from a 6-inch strip of paper missing at the bottom of the right side of the gatefold (see photo). 
The spine is in good shape with whitening at the corners.
This MONO Promo record is impossibly rare and this particular example would make an incredible addition to your high value collection. This MONO Promo rarely comes is made available on eBay SO BID TO WIN!!!
