Description

This auction is for my used Deep Wound 7" 45 on Radiobeat 1983 in VG condition.
I went to Amherst High School (class of '83) and was friends with J and Charlie (and Murph from Dinosaur Jr).  Charlie Nakajima and I spent many hours hanging out and listening to music, and he wrote personal musings/notes on my lyric sheet when he gave me the record.  My brother Sean created the artwork for the disc label of Video Dick rotating on the spindle as his guts fly.  Sean also did the artwork for the subsequent albums and reissues etc., with images imagined from our High School's senior corridor.  The hand holding the ice cream cone on the front cover is Scott's hand.  I attended most, if not all, of Deep Wound's live performances, as well as some of their private rehearsals.  Those were the days :)
It's very clean, however, there are a couple of small scratches on each side.  There is audible surface noise in the soft quiet between songs, but doesn't intrude on the music except for a few minor pops on side 2, in Video Dick and Dead Babies.  The cover is slightly yellowed (as pictured) with a couple of slightly blunted corners.  It does not have more pronounced incidents of defects allowable in VG+, but is rather dropped a grade primarily due to the surface noise.  It's a very nice VG.
The winning bidder will also receive copies are rare artist proofs from my brother's collection - the extra artwork that was submitted and went unused, copies of early drafts, etc.
Feel free to write with questions, thanks.
