Description
You are bidding for a very rare stereo vinyl LP, Record No: Decca SXL2176 original Wide Band First Pressing in near mint condition.
The works are: Rachmaninov Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini Op 43 & Dohnanyi Variations on a Nursery Tune Op 25. Julius Katchen, Piano, with the London Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Sir Adrian Boult.
This has always been considered one of the finest recordings of these works. The sound on this disc is magnificent and we believe it was recorded at the famous Kingsway Hall in 1960.
LP in near mint condition and the sleeve is in excellent condition with two very slight marks on the back cover. There are no creases on the cover at all.
