*** ULTRA RARE BRITISH TEST PRESSING***
UK LP, RCA SF 8287, 1972
Generic RCA white label stock with sticker on second side to confirm artist and catalogue number.
Doesn’t have finished sleeve – they hadn’t been made yet!! – just a plain white inner bag.
This Test Pressing will however be sent with an alternative sleeve but not from this artist.
Matrices:
Side 1 = BGBS 0864-1T
Side 2 = BGBS 0865-1T
Side 1 = etched name of Bobil
Side 2 = etched name of Rasputin
*** Only a handful of these would have been produced by RCA in 1972 to confirm that the recording was perfect. ***.
Condition: EXCELLENT
This record was given to me personally by a friend who worked for RCA in London around
Easter 1972 and has been played only on my stereo system (Shure stylus) maximum 5-6 times only to make a copy to cassette or CD.
You will be the second owner of this rare record.
I’ve tried to use reflective light on the photos to show that there are no scratches on the both sides. Please feel free to ask questions, I will answer them as best I can. Thanks for looking
