Description

Relatively unknown Canadian Psych/Soul Garage rarity on the very collectible Paragon label. Released in 1969 & recorded at the CBC studios in Halifax, it's mostly a 60's exploito-style covers album but the musicianship and original takes on the material definitely set this one apart. The highlight here is the hard-drum driven cover of "Season of the Witch" featuring great slinky wahwah and way out vocals.My personal highlight is a funky James Brown medley featuring 4 great tunes rolled into one.
