Description
This is a very hard to find copy of Dave Kennedy and The Ambassadors - "Breaking Up Is Hard To Do'.... a 1965 LP on Coulee Records (La Crosse WI) Monaural CLP-1001. The group was a very successful Rock'n'Roll band in the upper Midwest from 1961 - 1965. This album marked the end of their career, recorded right before they were called for military service. It is autographed on the front by Dave Kennedy (lead singer) and Tari Tovsen (lead guitar). There are comments on the back written by Lindy Shannon, a legendary disc jockey and record producer in the La Crosse area.
The album jacket is in excellent condition, with the only significant marks being a previous owners name lightly in pen on the front and a white scrape which you can see in the cover photo. The vinyl is VG+, very glossy, perfect labels, with a couple light scratches and a small chip on the edge which does not affect play. The tracks are:
