DARKSEID - (no label name) 101 - Space Bass b/w Shamokin Woman - This record from stock of a record store in North-East Pennsylvania that closed in the early 80's. Based on the store's location and the fact that Shamokin is on the NY border I would assume that the band is also from NE Pennsylvania. "Space Bass" is an incredible song that could best be described as garage funk. Every copy that I have seen of this 45 plays slightly "out of round". This is when the tone arm on the turntable moves from side to side as the record plays. That being said...this copy is left-over store stock and has only been played a couple times. It is graded E+.
