RARE GREY MARBLE EFFECT VINYL, VERY THICK FULLY TEXTURED GATEFOLD SLEEVE + 12 PAGE BOOKLET
This now legendary prog rock/psych band formed in Northampton in 1968. The group privately released this brilliant six track long player in 1972, this superb album is full of melodic progressive rock laced with lots of superb heavy fuzz guitar riffs, booming bass guitar and excellent drumming. This superb album by DARK is one of the very few uk psych-prog PRIVATE PRESSINGS that is worth all the hype.
Only a handful of original copies of this DARK album were ever pressed, the first 12 came housed in a excellent colour gatefold sleeve complete with a handmade photo book and handwritten liner notes. These 12 colour gatefold copies were handed out to the band members and their girlfriends and are now valued at a good few thousand pounds each. The remaining original copies came in a slightly less attractive black and white sleeve and the value of these is not far behind. I can safely say that you will never find the original 1972 uk pressing so this brilliantly packaged AKARMA issue is the only reissue worth having.
The gatefold sleeve is made from very thick and rigid card and is heavily textured, the spine is nice and wide and is very strong, this fully textured gatefold is simply superb with no real faults, the 12 page black & white info/lyric booklet is mint and the 180g thick grey marble effect vinyl has only ever been played just twice on good quality equipment and so plays and sounds MINT throughout.
This really is the only reissue of this extinct monster-rare heavy fuzz prog-rock album worth having.

I pack my records very well indeed, the album will be removed from the card cover to avoid seem/edge splits in transit, plenty of rigid cardboard support will be used to avoid corners bending, this album will reach you in the same condition as advertised.
