Description
The Damned - Stretcher Case Baby / Sick Of Being Sick. Stiff Records 45rpm vinyl 7". No catalogue number on sleeve or label, has Damned-1 stamped on run-out groove (along with 'You'd better have the album I said you'd better have the album'). 5000 copies issued.
Given away free at the band's first anniversary gigs at the Marquee Club in July 1977 (The group's first gig was supporting the Sex Pistols at the 100 Club on July 6th 1976). This is one of very few copies to survive complete with the original insert (and it's rare enough without it) - a 6" by 4" Stiff Records compliments slip, printed with the message 'You didn't pay for it so take it or leave it - Rat'
Not in mint condition, but very well looked after - some light creasing to the cover and minor surface wear. Postage at cost. Non-UK bidders must pay via Paypal.
