Description: 1985 release from Liverpool based label, Oak Records. This very interesting album contains music by Antonio Russolo, Hugo Ball, Arthur Honegger, Tristan Tzata, Kurt Schwitters, Raoul Hausmann, Giacomo Balla and Luigi Rullolo. The recordings range from 1914 to 1923 and sound wonderful. A very interesting selection that still sound modern to this date. The set was compiled by Colin Fallows and this particular copy was sent out by the record company to a music journalist in London. The set consists of a hand written Record Company compliment slip, a 4 page glossy black and white foldout, 3 x A3 pages of photostated information on the musical genre, a single sided A4 sheet with a review of the album from The Face magazine and two additional folded A4 sheet of detailed information relating to Luigi Russolo. Quite a set.

Record Grading:
All records are graded as per the standards set by Record Collector. Records are examined under a strong halogen light and graded accordingly. In addition, all NON MINT records are played on a LINN Axis turntable with an Akito arm with a Roksan cartridge. I tend not to get carried away with the classification or use words like “impossibly rare” “vault copy” or any other such nonsense. My reviews are precise and to the point. It is assumed that you know something of the artist so I rarely provide a description of who they are/were etc. The High Numbers become The Who, `N Betweens become Slade – you will not find a long description on the history in these reviews.
Record Cleaning:
All NON MINT albums are professionally cleaned prior to classification on an Okki Nokki record cleaning machine before dispatch.
Packaging: (all vinyl 7” + 12”)
Packaging is of the highest quality. I use professional mailers at all times, each record is supported by 2 cardboard stiffeners. The inner sleeve and record are packed individually in order to reduce wear on the sleeve in transit. The record, inner and cardboard stiffeners are then packed inside a high grade polythene record protector before being sealed in the mailer. The mailer is then supported by tape around the edges in order to minimise risk.
Postage Costs:
Postage is normally done the next working day after payment. All items are sent "Recorded Delivery". There are no exceptions. Proof of postage is retained with all items.
