Released by Coxsone Records in 1967, cat # CS-7023; this is “Time Is Getting Hard†by Lloyd Charmers c/w “I Sit By The Shore†by Tony Gregory.
This is our latest batch of simply stunning sixties ska and rocksteady all from the same collection – see our “me†page if you are new to our auctions. This is our twentieth week of reggae singles and the quality so no signs of reducing! I don’t think there is anyone else in the UK at present offering MINT or UNPLAYED reggae of this quality. You have to ask yourself – will you ever see these singles in this condition again?
There is slight discolouration to the B-side label, probably caused by damp storage at some point in the past thirty nine years. There are no spindle marks on either label. There is one tiny surface mark on the B-side playing surface – the vinyl is otherwise unmarked on both sides. The A-side plays as good as it looks – MINT. The B-side has a tiny bit of surface noise at the very start, but we are getting very critical here! The B-side grades as excellent.
Postage and packing for one record will be £1.10 UK, £1.80 Europe and £2.50 USA and the Rest of the World. For two records, the costs are £1.30 UK, £2.20 Europe and £3.20 USA and the Rest of the World.
Insurance is extra and will be required if the value of the record or overall consignment exceeds £28.
Payment by PayPal is preferred for all customers; though I will accept cheques or postal orders for UK customers. Overseas customers must pay by Paypal unless agreed otherwise prior to auction end.
