CONDITION DETAILS Double album. Unopened/new vinyl, factory sealed with HYPE-STICKER, and in excellent condition. Partial tear in shrink along the top-edge (no shelf-wear. (This record is not a cut-out.)

ABOUT THE RECORD Recovering the Satellites, by Counting Crows, reached #1 in the United States and was a top seller in Australia, Canada, and the UK as well. It produced four singles which each charted on Billboard's Modern Rock Tracks: Angels of the Silences (#3), A Long December (#5), Daylight Fading (#26) and Have You Seen Me Lately (#34). Recovering Satellites was certified double platinum. For this album, the quintet became a sextet, with fellow San Franciscan Dan Vickrey added, contributing a second guitar as well as sharing in songwriting credits on four of the fourteen tracks. Steve Bowman was replaced as drummer by Ben Mize. Counting Crows brought in producer Gil Norton for Recovering the Satellites.
