Selling-up my extensive record collection. Lots of interesting LPs in the collection - do have a look at my other items, and there are new listings every week. I may have obscure things that you didn't even know you wanted!

Here is an original 1972 copy of the first great rock charity show. You get three LPs in a nice box with a thick book of photos. This is a good example of this set, has been well looked-after.

Box etc. - As you can see in my photos, box in very good condition. Just isn't stained or damaged - box lid has two split corners. Original 3 inners, in good condition. 64 page book of colour photos and info is in very good condition - some light creases and signs of handling on cover.

Records - side one has a nasty heavy fingernail type mark on the first 2 cms of the music grooves. The first 6 minutes or so of the grooves is George introducing the Indian musicians, and Ravi speaking - one can hear clicks during that, but the damage does not extend into the actual music, which plays excellently. Side two has a long light fingernail mark on the second half of the side. Side three has large paper-type scuffs - the coloured inners are rather hard paper - I have play-tested sides three and four - side three plays excellently, no audio effect from the scuffs. Side Four has three short light scratches, and a light paper scuff - also a small mark or stain near the start. Side four plays excellently, you can hear a some crackles in brief silences during Leon Russell playing "Young Blood". Side five (Bob Dylan's set) looks excellent. Side six is excellent, with just a short surface mark near the end of the side. Pretty darn good, to summarise.

When I'm checking for damage on records, I look at them carefully with my reading glasses on, in good daylight. This method detects any bits of damage that will affect what you hear when listening to it - and lots that are not audible. Using a spotlight or direct sunlight shows more surfacey marks sometimes, but I don't do that - records are for listening to, not trying to see your face in.

I don't mail things personally, to countries outside the UK - ( I mean it, don't ask) - but I am happy to use E-Bay UK's Global Shipping Program, for sending things abroad. Under this scheme, I send the parcel to an e-bay depot in UK, and they forward it to the overseas buyer.

They have a tracked courier service, for the journey from their UK depot, to the buyer.

This means that I can ONLY accept payments through e-bay (Pay Now button), and I can't send invoices.

E-Bay UK tells me, they do NOT do combined postage in the Global Shipping Programme. Charges to the customer for delivery are whatever you're told they are - if you don't want to pay the postal / courier charges, then do not bid.

International buyers should be able to see a postage cost to their country, you may have to input your location, if your country is included in the scheme.

If your country is not mentioned, please do not bid.
