Concert For Bangla Desh, George Harrison (Beatles) x 3 LP. Ex + Vinyl/Book & Box

	£		42
	$		56

CONCERT FOR BANGLADESH: NEAR MINT VINYL, WITH EXCELLENT/EX PLUS BROCHURE & OUTER BOX.

VINYL x 3: EXCELLENT + NEAR MINT

The three discs all retain a beautiful deep sheen with just the smallest amount of faint handling marks, only visible under angled light. They barely look played, and any wispy marks are very faint indeed, and are probably from sleeve removal. Superb/probably mint minus, but I’ll describe as EX+. without question.

LABELS: EXCELLENT + NEAR MINT

The labels are spotless. Clean, graffiti free, bright, with the very smallest of ware to some of the centre holes. Really very little, if any visible spindle ware.

Stamper D (No Mother number)

BOOKLET: EXCELLENT.

Some faint handling marks, and one slightly loose page. No rips or tares. Excellent.

INNERS: EXCELLENT PLUS

The three white inners are all stamped ‘MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN’ with ‘PATENT Nos. 1.126.666. Some light handling marks/faint creases, but no rips or tares.

THE OUTER BOX: EXCELLENT PLUS

The outer box is one of the best I’ve seen in a long time. Just two small splits to top left and bottom left of spine side of lid (THE CONCERT FOR BANGLADESH - see photos).

Other than that, it’s superb (A little corner ware to one corner of the tray. See photos). Clean, bright, graffiti free, and strong and robust.

CONCLUSION.

So, released 1972, Apple, cat no STCX 3385, you are bidding on a superb example of this seminal release; often considered as the first benefit concert. Artists include Dylan, Shankar, Clapton, and of course, George Harrison. The overall grading is excellent plus, with truly superb, perhaps near mint vinyl.
