Cocteau Twins - Treasure Vinyl LP - Good condition.

Selling-up my extensive record collection. Lots of interesting LPs in the collection - do have a look at my other items, and there are new listings every week. I may have obscure things that you didn't even know you wanted!

UK First Issue copy of this 1984 Cocteaus album. Because of the "floaty" nature of their music, scratchy copies of their records are un-listenable, but this one is good - see later.

Pictures are my own photos of the items for sale. Photos are part of the description, have a good look.

Cover - is good, has a short split at top, various small bumps on the corners, a few light scallop creases. Custom inner (shiny light card) is present, pretty nice but split at the bottom.

Record - when I got this, I had a listen to it and left myself a note about it - I found it played "unusually excellent" for one of their records, but I did hear crackles on next-to-last track on side two. Visual inspection showed-up - on side one - a fingernail mark from end of track 1 into start of track 2, and a tiny scratch between tracks 1 and 2. On side two, there's a very small impact on track 2, and a light fingernail mark on track 5.

I have been collecting records for 50 years (when finances allowed!), and now it's time to sell-up. I bought them mostly around local shops (second-hand), but sometimes from e-bay, and sometimes new, for my favourite bands.

When I'm checking for damage on records, I look at them carefully with my reading glasses on, in good daylight. This method detects any bits of damage that will affect what you hear when listening to it - and lots that are not audible. Using a spotlight or direct sunlight shows more surfacey marks sometimes, but I don't do that - records are for listening to, not trying to see your face in.

I don't mail things personally, to countries outside the UK - ( I mean it, don't ask) - but I am happy to use E-Bay UK's Global Shipping Program, for sending things abroad. Under this scheme, I send the parcel to an e-bay depot in UK, and they forward it to the overseas buyer.

They have a tracked courier service, for the journey from their UK depot, to the buyer.

This means that I can ONLY accept payments through e-bay (Pay Now button), and I can't send invoices.

E-Bay UK tells me, they do NOT do combined postage in the Global Shipping Programme. Charges to the customer for delivery are whatever you're told they are - if you don't want to pay the postal / courier charges, then do not bid.

International buyers should be able to see a postage cost to their country, you may have to input your location, if your country is included in the scheme.

If your country is not mentioned, please do not bid.
