audiophile reissue (180 grams), factory sealed LP
This 1970 recording was produced as a tribute to the great Latin music coming at the time from The Caribbean and North America: Boogaloo and Descargas. Some of the best Peruvian studio musicians got together to record their compositions and arrangements to the latest craze in dance Latin music.
Second great album by the Coco Lagos group, with more slammin' hard Latin jazz tracks in the same vein as the first one. The groove is straight descarga / boogaloo, and non-stop all the way through. With great cuts like "Coco's Descarga", "Guajira Boogaloo", and "Gozando Descargas". Excellent stuff, like all the other albums in this series.
