Description

EmArcy MG-36037, deep groove, blue and silver label. 9 tracks that include Max Roach, drums; Harold Land, tenor sax; George Morrow, bass; Richie Powell, piano. Some classic performances including “Sandu” and others. Some of the finest modern jazz ever performed. This is an original copy of one of the most important modern jazz records. Cover: VG+. Text on back cover in dark blue ink. 3” scotch tape repair on bottom edge. Fine, clear, gloss picture of Brown on the front cover. Some aging on the back cover. Somewhat darker along the edges. Light aging along the white border of the front cover. Record: VG+ to mint(-). Visually shows no wear other than a small number of light rub marks, some barely visible. These do not effect the record. Except for an occasional, very infrequent, click or a very short interval of light groove noise, both practically inaudible, there is no surface noise. Fine copy. I have conservatively graded this as most is mint. Audibly checked.
