Description
Description: Own a piece of LA punk rock history. Circle One "Patterns Of Force" LP. Still sealed in it’s original plastic. Circle One were an early eighties LA punk / hardcore band that my brother released on his record label “Upstart Records” that he ran out of my parents garage from 1980 until it’s demise in 1984. I actually found it in my parents garage where it’s been sitting for over 20 years. Out of that garage he released albums by other LA punk/hardcore bands (Killroy and Red Scare), promoted shows at such places as the Cathy de grand, printed fliers and T shirts for the bands and the shows, released a fanzine on tape which included interviews with such bands as Black Flag, Saccharine Trust, and RF7, all before he was 18.
Recorded at Sound Image, North Hollywood
Mixed at Skip Saylor's, Hollywood
Cover Art by David M. Brandt
Condition: The record has never been played. It's still sealed in the original shrink wrap. The shrink wrap has caused the corners and edges to bend a bit. The worst corner is the upper left where there is a 2" long crease mark (see detail photos). The faint outline of the outer edge of the record can be seen on both the front and back cover. I believe it is caused by the bending of the corners. There is also one 1" x 1/2" very faint stain on the top part of the front cover. It must have been a flaw that occurred during manufacturing since it's behind the shrink wrap (see detail photo). The white areas of the covers have yellowed very slightly over the years.
