VINYL is VG to EX on this original pressing on thick vinyl. I just pulled this from a collection from the original owner. I just played it through end to end, and 90 percent of it plays EX to EX+ with no background noise and exceptional sonics. However, track 3 on side 2 has a mark that looks like it goes from the end of track 2 through about halfway through track 3 and it leave a light tick on half of track 3....it really doe not affect the end of track 2 as that is a pretty loud mix.  Overall light to moderate play....some light spindle trail off marks...spindle holes are still quite crisp (always a tell tale sign of amount of play)....the vinyl sits flat and it plays really nice an quiet except for the mentioned issue.  What a great composition, end to end.  I am a huge doors fan and after track 1 on the first side which has an MC5 groove to it you would think Jim Morrison was in the room. Too bad the Doors didn't grab this guy and continue with him.  I guess there are only a handful (500? 700?) copies of this original pressing made 54 years ago and after listening to it I can see why it commands such a price.  A really good player but by no means perfect.

ULTRASONIC CLEANED -- I just cleaned it on my new Ultrasonic Record cleaner, and put it in a fresh sleeve.  It really does make a difference in the sound quality....it gets rid of stuff other methods just can't tackle....I am hooked!  Ready to enjoy for years to come.

COVER is VG....no writing...solid seams and spine....has a slight bend to it, as it was in a plastic bin that was slightly tilted...it is a thin import type of cover and I am flattening it now....should be fine....has a couple of creases along the front right and some chipping to the laminite....see photos.  You could touch these up pretty easy but I didn't want to touch it....see photos
