The BEATLES BEATLES FOR SALE Parlophone STEREO PCS 3062
Side 1: YEX 142-1 (4 PP)
Side 2: YEX 143-1 (1 PG)
Relatively RARER Black and Silver label with one EMI box (circa late 1969/1970)
EXCELLENT+ vinyl, visual and audio. Lovely looking vinyl on both sides. Hardly any marks. Great stereo playback. No clicks or ticks.
Very clean labels, minor spindle markings.
MISPRINT on side 1 label, track 7 ‘Kansas City’, publishing credit for WORLID music (instead of WORLD).
The flimsy gatefold cover has taken a few bumps. Cornerwear at the top and bottom of the spine. The spine has flattened out. The back has lost a patch of photo in the top left hand corner.
There is a slight tear at the top and some sticker residue on the front. Inside the gatefold track 5 I’ll Follow The Sun has lost the first word of the title. VG overall despite these flaws.
The inner sepia ‘EMI advertising’ sleeve has ripped along the edges.
Very nice record with later stereo cover which was very lightweight compared to earlier ones.
