Description

Up for bid is a beautiful original 1958 copy of Chuck Berry's groundbreaking first album "After School Session" (Chess LP-1426 Mono).  

As with most original Chuck Berry records, it exhibits some light surface scratches.  The vinyl retains great original shine.  Upon playback, there are intermittent background crackles and ticks; Mostly evident during quiet gaps between songs.  Great deep groove mono sound and a very nice listening experience overall.  The amazing sound far overpowers any surface noise.  NO pops. NO skips.

VINYL: Strong VG

The cover is very near to perfection.  NO seam splits.  Clean, legible spine.  Minimal ring wear.  Great color. NO writing. Some discoloration on back cover (common for early Chess releases).  Some very minor creasing in upper right corner.
