SEALED 2 - RECORD/LP SET
COLUMBIA STEREO GP8
Ø This is Chicago’s first release
Ø Recorded & released 1969
Ø Columbia Stereo GP 8
Ø Printed on the spine is: GP 8 and “Chicago Transit Authority I.
Ø The back states that GP 8, “can also be played on mono equipment”
Ø There’s a bright pink label on the back, which states 2-record set special low price and a list of hits.
Ø The album is very reflective and difficult to photograph. There are no cracks in the seal.
I have Chicago’s first three albums up for auction. All are SEALED.
This is a very rare opportunity to acquire all three albums in this condition. I will combine shipping.
HISTORY
I AM NOT A RECORD COLLECTOR. I inherited a “slew” of albums from my uncle who was an engineer at a variety of radio stations. This record is from one of these stations or his personal collection.
