Charlie Parker on Dial 901
This is the original deep-groove “P”-pressing of Charlie Parker “The Bird Blows the Blues” on the red and yellow labels of Dial 901. The flat-rim playing surface is in excellent condition, with a nice luster; however there are inherent non-repetitive tics throughout, more so on Side 2 than Side 1; perhaps played once or twice. The coated frame art cover is clean throughout; ¼” wear at the top right corner; 2 ½” wear/split at the center of the spine; 5” wear on the bottom seam, at the opening, ¾” chip on the front, at the right edge, ¾” chip at the lower right corner of the front; 1” chip at the lower left corner of the back.
