Charlie Parker All Stars, Dial 1030 (2-26-47) STUPENDOUS (Charlie Parker-alto sax, Werdell Gray- tenor sax, Howard McGhee-trumpet, Dodo Marmarosa-piano, Barney Kessel guitar, Red Callender-bass, Don Lamond-drums)/RELAXING AT CAMARILLO (Same band as side A). Charlie Parker helped put modern jazz on the map with the landmark recordings for the West Coast DIAL label. These were some of the most important records ever made in American music history. There he worked with Dizzy Gillespie, Howard McGhee, Max Roach, Miles Davis, Dodo Marmarosa, Dexter Gordon and others. While there he wrote the tune "RELAXING AT CAMARILLO". Record is MINT (never played) in original soft tan sleeve.
