Swan Records PROMO S-4182-S Sie Liebt Dich b/w I'll Get You DIE BEATLES. Vintage circa 1964 SWAN 45rpm PROMO black and white label issue. This promotional copy of Sie Liebt Dich is very rare according to Beatles expert Bruce Spizer in his definitive book on the subject The Beatles Swan Song (see photos). The 45rpm is in NM- condition, appears unplayed, high gloss shine, superficial pressing flaw very minor which does not effect play, a beautiful example. This SWAN white label PROMO 45 rpm comes along with a 1963 memo issued from the desk of SWAN executive Walter Gates (memo is unrelated to The Beatles but neat!) Also included is a unique May, 1964 letter sent to Mr. Gates from a Wisconsin radio station WLDM requesting a copy of Sie Liebt Dich by "DIE BEATLES"!
This RARE 45 rpm comes along a scarce circa 1964 SWAN record MAILER! This rare mailer shows some aging after over 60 years in storage but has never been sent through the mail. Just a hand full of these over 60 year old SWAN mailers were recently discovered in Swan Record Company executive Walter Gates estate.
This SWAN promotional 45rpm is near mint example and it comes along with a RARE 45 rpm SWAN MAILER, a dated 1963 memo from the desk of SWAN RECORDS executive Walter Gates and 1964 radio station WLDM radio station requesting a copy of Sie Leibt Dich"Die Beatles"!
