Description
This is the original deep groove pressing of Charles Mingus “The Clown” on the black and silver labels of Atlantic 1260. The playing surface is in near-new condition, with a beautiful luster; however, typical of a lot of these early Atlantic pressings, there are sporadic low-level tics throughout; the sound quality is crisp and clear. The laminated frame cover is in exceptional condition – bright and clean throughout; ¼” bump at the bottom corners. Atlantic inner sleeve is included. Personnel include Curtis Porter, Jimmy Knepper, Wade Legge, and Dannie Richmond. $100.00.
