Description

Up for auction is a truly rare piece of movie/music memorabilia. It is a ceramic candy plate (which could double as an ashtray), which measures 7 x 7 inches and features the cover of the original soundtrack recording of My Fair Lady. This unusual piece has a black border and is completely black on the reverse. It has slightly raised corners in the Asian style, and the cover illustration of Audrey Hepburn and Rex Harrison by the famous Bob Peak is in a combination of matte and shiny glazing. This was never for sale. It was a promotional piece issued to a select few from Columbia records. It weighs 8 ounces, and is in excellent condition with minimum wear on the back.
