UNIT CORE Records 3055-5, recorded March 11, 1973. It’s not hard to find this record these days, but it is hard to find one in this condition: Disc in factory mint condition. Silk-screened glossy cover is free of all smudges, fingerprints, physical flaws. One small (and probably removable) sticker has acquisition date on it. Gentle bending to one corner, with no crease. This is one of over 200 LPs being consigned on auction weekly between now and Spring 2007 from the well-kept and thorough collection of the late sculptor Bradford Graves, a key participant in the operations of New York performance space Soundscape. The collection ranges from Art Blakey to Han Bennink, with especially strong showings of Saturn, FMP, ICP, and US private pressings from the early Seventies. Some prizes and surprises in every batch.
