Offering
A&M SP 4205-StereoSuper-rare debut LP by brother and sister duo, The Carpenters. At the time the LP was a flop in part due to the front cover photo, which was widely mocked in the press. This caused Karen great distress (a close-up of the two smiling on the back better captures their charm). The LP was quickly withdrawn and retitled "Ticket to Ride." "Ticket to Ride" had minor chart success. Today their music, especially this first album, has both popular and cult appeal. Tracks on this LP are listed below:

The cover is remarkably clean and grades Mint Minus in the original shrink and shows only the tiniest amount of wear at the two exposed right corners. Disc (brown label, logo at left) is clean and glossy showing a little scuffing (very light) only.
