Description
In 1984, about a year after Karen Carpenter's death in February 1983, A&M Records and Richard Carpenter decided to release a 2-disc vinyl record set of the Carpenters Greatest hits. The resulting collection includes 27 tracks, almost all of which are instantly familiar to a generation.
This vinyl album is A&M SP-6601, released in 1985. This is a promotional copy as evidenced by the cut in the package in the lower right corner (looking at the album front cover). As the package has never been opened I cannot attest to any special sleeves, booklets, etc. I just know that it has been in my collection for 30+years.
The album will be shipped USPS or FedEx. Shipping is free in the lower 48 states. $5 more for Alaska, Hawaii and US territories. International shipping on request.
