Description

  Caravan - Pillars - Debut LP 1st Verve Forecast Stereo Rare and deservedly sought after album by Caravan.

This copy has the A1, B1 matrices - it was bought within days of release and has been well looked after by one owner since 1969.

The vinyl is clean and lustrous with just a couple of non sounding hairlines. It plays really well and just reinforces why vinyl is king - CD can never reach out of the speakers and touch you like this!

I'd grade the vinyl a conservative EX-, the minus is for the hairlines which you can't hear anyway.

The laminated flipback G&L sleeve is a conservative VG because of some corner wear and a little creasing in the bottom righthand corner - for 41 years of age it's doing great!



Like many of the records I'm selling today this came from the large collection of a busy man now aged 60. Due to the size of his collection many of the LPs were only played once or twice from new - some were never played and they were all properly looked after. His musical taste was towards the avant garde/free end of the jazz spectrum. I will be selling selected records from his collection over the next few years so please add me to your favourites list!
