Hi, my name is Tommy and I’ve been collecting records for many, many years now. I’ve taken the hard decision to sell off some of my collection due to it being to large and taking up too much room. So please look at my other listings, regrettable they’ve got to go. All my records are stored in protective plastic sleeves, standing upright with no pressure on them. Will be listing many more over the next few months..:(
Listed here is a RARE album by Captain Beefheart titled Trout Mask Replica. This is a UK Original Pressing on Straight STS 1053. It is getting very hard to find the original Straight UK pressing of this album. This is the captain’s classic double gatefold album and is produced by Frank Zappa.
Matrix numbers are: STS 1053 A1 / STS 1053 B1 / STS 1053 C1 / STS 1053 D1
Both sides of both LP’s are in a EX condition. There is very minor background noise, but this is only really noticeable between the tracks and on the run-ins. There is no crackle or pops, no jumps or skips. Visually Both LP’s are in NM condition, no scratches or hairline stractches.
The double gatefold sleeve is in VG+ condition. There is some ring wear (see Photo), no tears or marks or pen names. There is some minor wear to Spine and edges, but no splits. Back of sleeve and inside of sleeve are in a EX+ condition. Original Inner and Labels in EX+ condition.
Overall a great copy of this sort after album.
