NOTES: First Stereo pressing. Front cover looks clean but there are seam splits to most of top and half of bottom. Record does not have any huge scuffs and at first glance in normal light looks pretty decent, perhaps a weak VG+. However, under bright light there are scattered thin scratches, some of them long, some feelable. So there is some surface noise of the light to medium clicking variety, but no skips or really bad issues. Still a fairly enjoyable listen, but obviously not a copy for the Mint only audiophile collector. I realize with a legendary record like this sound quality is everything, so I have tried to put a reasonable price on it.
GRADES: SEALED, NM, EXC, VG+, VG, VG-, G, FAIR, POOR.
I grade strictly under bright light. My highest grade for an unsealed record is NM (NEAR MINT) - a record must look like new to be graded NM! An EXC record will show only slight signs of prior play. A VG+ is a solid used record that should play well but has minor visual flaws. A VG has more obvious flaws BUT is not trashed. Records graded VG- or worse will often play much better than they look.
