Description

Hi!  You're looking at a SUPERB condition, NEAR MINT copy of a RARE and hard to find record which features the great virtuoso violinist MICHAEL RABIN and is an ORIGINAL ISSUE on the Capitol label--it bears the serial number P 8510 and is a High Fidelity monophonic issue with Full Dimensional Sound (FDS).  It's got NEAR MINT and absolutely FLAWLESS condition vinyl which plays beautifully, and a NM cover with a tiny price sticker in the upper right corner of the front cover, a clean 1 1/2 inch split on the upper opening edge, and no other significant imperfections.  The book is titled "The Magic Bow" and features violinist MICHAEL RABIN and The Hollywood Bowl Symphony Orchestra, conducted by FELIX SLATKIN.  The record features 8 brilliant showpieces for violin, including the "Caprice Viennois" by FRITZ KREISLER;  "Hora Staccato" by GHEORGHE DINICU (arrange by JASCHA HEIFETZ);  "Meditation From Thais" by MASSENET;  "Zigeunerweisen" by PABLO SARASATE;  "Moto Perpetuo" by NICCOLO PAGANINI (arranged by Fritz Kreisler);  "The Old Refrain" by FRITZ KREISLER;  "The Flight of the Bumble Bee" by RIMSKY-KORSAKOV (arranged by Jascha Heifetz);  and "Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso" by CAMILLE SAINT-SAENS.

A fantastic find, and a beautiful copy of this record!
