Description
This is Fantasy Records 3-216, Cal Tjader Ritmo Caliente, a red vinyl, original mono issue featuring Jerome Richardson, Richard Wyands and Armando Peraza. The record is in (strong) VG++ condition, showing only a few light marks and playing quietly throughout . The labels show some spindle marks. The glossy cover, with original rice paper inner sleeve, has a piece of clear tape on the upper seam, but is otherwise excellent and intact. Because this is a red vinyl issue and it is very hard to visually judge, even with a strong light, I will rely more on how it sounds when played, which after all, is the most important thing anyway, This is a wonderful collector's grade copy of this original pressing. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12. This is part of a large Jazz record collection I will be offering in the next few months.
