Description

Miller's Merrymakers--Bluebird 2004

Original Cajun 78 RPM record, Bluebird B-2004, Miller's Merrymakers, Merrymaker's Hop b/w Lake Arthur Waltz. Recorded 17 October 1936. Vocals by J.B. Fuselier.

Record has been heavily played as is typical of most Cajun 78s from this period. Playing surface is dull, with numerous scuffs and scratches from use, and label wear as well, but no chips, cracks or other damage. Has more than average background noise and quite a bit of groove wear corresponding with the surface wear, but still plays well. Despite the wear, still a nice pre-war recording and is in G- condition. Any questions please feel free to ask.

Record is one of a small stack of pre-war Cajun 78s that were found in Port Arthur, Texas nearly 30 years ago. Please check my other auctions for more records from the same stack. Thanks.
