Description

Hello and welcome. Here is what you're bidding on:  TITLE & ARTIST: "Indescribable" - by Curtis Leach on the Longhorn Records label (LPM-003) in wonderfully clear original monaural sound, released circa 1965?. CONDITION: JACKET - VG+ (Light to moderate wear on edges and corners, top and bottom edges taped, corners dinged; cover still looks great); VINYL - VG+ to VG++ (The sound is clear and sharp with only a couple of pops (in other words, it sounds about right for a Texas honky tonk) - Both Visual and Play Graded).  SPECIAL FEATURES: Here is a guy most people have never heard of at all, yet he's made an amazing "back to basics" country album that fits right in with Ray Price and Lefty Frizzell from about 1953, and Dave Dudley from a bit later. Interestingly, this is the third record ever put out by the now-famous Texas label Longhorn Records (LPM 003), best known for it's very rare Bob Wills issues. My friend, if you like your country real as a switchblade knife, then you will enjoy Curtis Leach. If you're not sure, think on this line from one of the songs: "Are you sorry you cheated, or just sorry you got caught?" And now that you understand, wait 'till you hear "Big Railroad Man." TRACKS: Highway Man, Lightning Struck Twice, That's Between Your Conscience and You, You Got Caught, Wheelin' and Dealin', Big Railroad Man, Slick Sam the Salesman, Two Sinners, You Knocked Me Off My Feet, Ginny Pour the Wine, Oklahoma Home of My Heart, and Golden Guitar. If you have further questions about condition or content, please don't hesitate to ask. You may bid with unworried confidence. Our sales history is your assurance of absolute integrity. Thank you and good luck. OUR GRADING SYSTEM: SS (Still Sealed as from the factory); NM (Near Mint - our highest grade; sounds virtually perfect; we will have explanation of any minor conditions); VG++ (Very Good Plus Plus - kept from NM by one or more small conditions on record or jacket or both, explained carefully); VG+ (Very Good Plus - an enjoyable, played and loved, obviously used but still listenable record, usually with some light pops, but free of audible distraction; jacket may be lightly worn, slightly dinged, even very lightly split, but NEVER trashed); VG (Very Good) and below - we usually do NOT sell these, but if we have some good reason to offer such a record, we will explain completely).
