Bidders, please read my about me page prior to bidding. It contains information about my grading and guarantee. You are bidding on an LP record by THE CRYSTALS entitled " SING THE GREATEST HITS". This is a ultra rare U.S. thick vinyl mono first pressing of PHILLES record 4003 with the light blue Philles labels. It is the last and toughest of the three Crystals albums to find and carries a book value of $600 in near mint condition. The LP includes a killer lineup of backing musicians to create the wall of sound that includes; Leon Russel, Don Randi, Tom Tedesco, Bill Pittman, Nino Tempo, Steve Douglas, Ray Pohlman, Jimmy Bond, Frank Capp and the great Hal Blaine on drums. This LP is pressed on super thick non flexible vinyl and retains full gloss. The analog first press mixes are different from later pressings and are a must have for CRYSTALS , PHILLES , PHIL SPECTOR and GIRL GROUP collectors. This PHILLES U.S. original cover is pressed on thick cardboard stock with pasted on back slick(see photo). This cover version is even more rare because it has no cutout holes or saw marks typical of most of these found. This one was actually purchased while the LP was in print. This LP is NOT currently available on CD. At present this is the only way you can obtain it. Do not be fooled by inferior digital remasterings, re-mixes or compilation CD's. This is an original analog recording; The real thing. No reserve, I'll let market decide what it is worth. RECORD CONDITION: Both sides VERY GOOD +. Full gloss vinyl, with only light surface marks primarily from handling. The thick vinyl light blue labels are very clean with light wear the spindle holes(see photos). CD's and later vinyl pressings can't even come close to the incredible fidelity of this 1st pressing record. Jacket; VERY GOOD +/VERY GOOD. The black front cover has the beginning of ring wear mainly at bottom center and some faint creasing  near the spine (see photo). The back  cover also shows only the beginning of wear but does have some aging spots(see photo). The top and bottom seams are intact but do show wear mainly on the top seam which is fraying in spots resulting in the grade given, The spine is intact and the lettering is sharp with only wear at the corners. No cut out holes, tears, writing, stickers or stains. Thanks for looking.  Payment and shipping details. International buyers will pay actual U.S.P.S. air letter post rate plus $1.00 for up to five records plus $1.00 for each additional one to five records. Shipping internationally will be by airmail only.
