Upon release, this, the fifth Creedence studio album, went platinum before you could say "Ooby Dooby", spawning no less than four (4) top-ten charting hit singles (plus the fifth, the 11-minute version of Marvin Gaye's "I heard it through the grapevine", which went top-ten in 1976, more than six years after the album was released). Some of the songs in this album are literally and figuratively the finest Rock & Roll music has to offer. This is an increasingly relatively rare original pressing, on the blue Fantasy label, and is pressed on the thick, inflexible slab of vinyl, which probably explains why it sounds much, much better than the  'Fantasy' compact disc.
